Corey Schuman is a Silverlight consultant who specializes in combining quality application architecture with interactive UI experiences, or to sum it up a Silverlight Integrator.  Corey has been involved with Silverlight since the beginning in September 2007.  At Schematic, Corey worked on projects such as the 2008 NBCOlympics.com Silverlight video player (link), HSN.tv, and WPF kiosks for the Library of Congress.  Since his time as Schematic, Corey lead the development of MSN’s My Health Info (link) (a health dashboard developed in Silverlight), delivered the UniversalSports.com video player, Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics video player and viewers guide for CTVOlympics.ca, the Roundtable video player experience for Microsoft’s Because it’s everybody’s business campaign. Currently Corey is working with interactive agencies to bring rich, creative, experiences to life with Silverlight.

Corey is actively member of the Silverlight community. He is the founder and organizer of the Atlanta Silverlight User Group, as well as a lead organizer of ReMIX Atlanta 2010. When Corey is not organizing events you can find him frequently speaking, blogging, mentoring, and authoring books on Silverlight.  Publications include the  Microsoft Expression Blend 2 a Visual Quick Start Guide and Windows Phone 7 Application Development.
