SMF is the best but at this time it says "It currently only officially supports live and on-demand Smooth Streaming implementations but we intend to release updates that will support progressive download and streaming as well.". Also the license is not yet fully Open Source. 

So Silverlight Video Player is probably the best choice at this time.</description>
