Thanks to Jesse Liberty I am not going to go bald. From Beta2 to RC0, there is a fundamental change for Custom Controls. If you are using generic.xaml in your custom control, you need to create a new folder called Themes in the root directory.
The VideoSliderControl is updated to reflect this change. Download the code.
